On Tuesday, April 18th, members of the DRMC drove to Arlington to visit the Old Schwamb Mill. This is the oldest continuously-operating mill in the United States. The Mill is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The Mill stands on a 350-year-old site on the banks of Mill Brook in Arlington. The club tour included the power sources through the years used by the old mill and all of the machinery use to construct oval wooden picture frames. After finishing with the museum, we traveled to Blue Ribbon BBQ for lunch. We arrived back at Endicott Estate about 2:30 PM after a very pleasant trip.
